Clark State's commitment to the athletic program provides students an opportunity to compete against other schools at the varsity level in women's volleyball, softball and basketball and men's basketball and baseball.

Clark State competes in Region XII of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and regularly plays teams from Ohio and Michigan. Clark State is also a member of the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC).

Full-time students who are interested in becoming a member of a Clark State athletic team should complete an athletic form or contact the athletic coordinator. Talent grants and financial assistance are available to those who qualify and are registered full-time.

Everyone is encouraged to attend Clark State athletic events. School pride and community excitement can be accomplished by supporting our teams. Admission is free if you are a Clark State student and show proper ID. Schedules are available in the Admissions Office located in the Sara T. Landess Technology and Learning Center.

Open gym hours are posted in the Wellness Center and may vary due to intramural and athletic programs. The gymnasium is open to students, faculty and staff with a valid Clark State ID. Times are subject to change without notice and College athletic teams have priority.

Intramurals
Clark State Community College offers a variety of intramural sports in the areas of volleyball, basketball, tennis, softball, whiffleball, flag football and golf. Any group of students may form an intramural team by contacting the activities coordinator in the Wellness Center or by calling the Intramural Office at 937/328-7819.

Wellness Center
Clark State offers employees and students a fitness center with cardiovascular exercise equipment (or aerobic) ranging from treadmills, bikes and steppers to cross-training equipment. We also offer strength training equipment ranging from free weights to a multi-purpose unit machine. You will be required to present a current valid ID prior to using the Wellness Center.

The Wellness Center is located on the north side of the Applied Science Center adjacent to the gymnasium.
