Maintenance Welding

40 Hours

This training will consist of lecture, discussion, and student demonstration and application of skills and techniques. Topics to be covered include safety, power sources, electrodes, filler materials, shielding gases, torches, tips, pressure regulators, and applications for the welding process under study. This course includes training in the following welding processes:

  • Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)
  • Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW)
  • Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW)
  • Oxy-Acetylene Cutting (OAC)
  • Oxy-Acetylene Welding (OAW)
