Emergency
Closings
In the unusual event the College closes for inclement weather or other emergency, the College will post the information under News and Events on the Clark State home page. This same information is also posted at www.cancellations.com. In addition, information shall be broadcast on radio and television stations shown below. Due to the brief information that can be communicated to the media, the most detailed and accurate information will be on the College’s home page and www.cancellations.com.
Please do not call the radio stations or the College.
The announcement will be made as early as possible in the morning beginning at 6 a.m. Announcements concerning evening classes will be made beginning at 1 p.m. When the start of classes is delayed to a time later than 8 a.m. (e.g., 10 a.m. or noon), all classes scheduled during the delay period will not be held. Classes scheduled once the College has re-opened will be held at their usual times. There will be no abbreviated class schedules.
