Computing
Services
Computers are
an integral part of many classes at Clark State. The Computing
Services Department maintains a state-of-the-art digital network
that connects computer workstations in all offices, classrooms
and computer labs in all Clark State buildings on both the Leffel
Lane and Downtown campuses.
Registered
students are provided a Student WebMail account for their
use. You can send and receive e-mail from anyone with a valid
Internet address. Your address for sending or receiving mail
from off campus is your user name followed by @clarkstate.edu
(e.g., smitha0157@clarkstate.edu). Additional information
on student accounts is available in the open learning labs in
Rhodes Hall and the Brinkman Educational Center or online.
Open student
labs are located in the Library Resource Center, Rhodes Hall
and the Brinkman Educational Center. Instructional software is
available in these labs as well as office productivity and web
applications and printers. In addition, all open student lab
workstations have Zip drives so that the students can save their
work on their own removable cartridges.
Computing Services
also maintains a HelpDesk to
respond to computer and network issues.
