Customized TrainingsClark State is unique from other academic institutions in the extent to which we seek to provide customized training services in a close partnership with commercial, civilian and government clients. This unique service partnership can be characterized in three categories: assessment, planning and execution. AssessmentClark State’s Corporate and Community Service division stands ready to assist the government in accurately assessing its training needs. CSCC has developed an in-depth assessment methodology that allows us to quickly and effectively diagnose the root cause of a skills gap so that training is correctly targeted to produce the desired result. PlanningA thorough training plan is necessary to fully meet your needs. For example, it may be apparent that your organization has communication issues. Our in-depth assessment may reveal an additional need to foster an environment of trust. This type of targeted training planning will ensure your needs are fully met. Our extensive experience partnering with clients enables us to design the best training plan to produce success. ExecutionWe guarantee that all Clark State trainings will be executed with excellence from start to finish. Clark State has built relationships with a top-flight team of local and national instructors. We can attest to our trainer’s commitment to quality through consistently high student feedback as well as national certification credentials. Many of our instructors are DDI (Development Dimensions International) certified. DDI is a national training organization that is consistently ranked as the top corporate training organization in the country. This certification attests that the instructor has met DDI’s stringent requirements for training excellence. Also, our instructors use materials which were developed with extensive research into educational methodology to maximize training results. This ensures that our training topics are well thought out and conducted so that lasting change is the result. A typical class may consist of a variety of delivery styles, including short lecture, video, group discussion, case studies, etc. To monitor quality we gather feedback through student surveys and supervisor input to ensure that the desired results are met. Clark State has a large, flexible capacity to offer a wide scope of training topics to the government. As a member of the Enterprise Ohio Network (EON), a consortium of over 78 colleges, we have access to state-wide experts in a wide variety of training needs. For example, a unit at the Base recently requested that we offer training on Understanding and Managing Risk. By utilizing our relationships with faculty experts at Franklin University and Ohio State University, we designed, developed and delivered a class that exceeded expectations and was well under the budgetary guidelines. In addition, the economies of scale through the EON enable us to purchase course materials at a greatly reduced rate. As a result we can offer world class training at a fraction of the cost compared to non-educational training suppliers. |
