Kay Frazier Court Reporting Scholarship

Purpose
To assist a first year Court Reporting student in pursuing an education at Clark State.

Award
$500 total each year to be awarded to one ($500) or two students ($250 each).

Eligibility

  • Student is a first-year student, enrolled in the Court Reporting program
  • Must be enrolled as a full-time student (minimum 12 credit hours)
  • Student demonstrates the ability to succeed in this academic area
  • Student must have a minimum 3.0 GPA from his/her previous educational institution
  • Financial need will be a primary consideration.
  • No applicant may be disqualified because of sex, race, physical handicap, or religious affiliation.

Application process for first consideration
Submit completed financial aid forms, scholarship application, copy of tax forms and current transcript to the Financial Aid Office by 5 p.m., the last Friday in March.

Selection process

  • Applications will be screened by the scholarship committee, including Kay Frazier
  • Late or incomplete applications will not be considered
  • All decisions of the Scholarship Committee are final
