Ilean Moore Scholarship

Purpose
To provide assistance to a registered nursing or licensed practical nursing student.

Award - multiple

  • The $1,000 award can be used for tuition and fees
  • The award will be issued in equal payments over the academic year

Eligibility

  • The applicant must have completed all admission requirements
  • The applicant must have been admitted to the RN or LPN program
  • The applicant must have at least a 2.5 grade point average at the time of application (high school or college) and maintain at least a 2.5 average for the duration of the scholarship
  • The student must be taking a minimum of 11 credit hours each quarter of the award, except Summer quarters, when the minimum will be 6 credit hours
  • Financial need may be considered in the decision

Application process for first consideration
Submit completed financial aid forms, scholarship application, copy of tax forms and current transcript to the Financial Aid Office by 5 p.m., the last Friday in March.

Selection process

  • Applications will be screened by the Scholarship Committee
  • Late or incomplete applications will not be considered
  • All decisions of the Scholarship Committee are final
