Morris Accounting Scholarship

Funded by the Dwight and Marguerite Morris Scholarship Fund.

Purpose
To assist in recruiting and retaining students pursuing an accounting degree or certificate at Clark State.

Award
Four scholarships of up to $2,000 each for tuition and fees, divided equally between Fall, Winter and Spring quarters.

Eligibility

  • Recipient must be enrolled as a full-time student at Clark State (minimum 12 credit hours)
  • Must have a grade point average of at least 3.0 (4.0 scale)
  • Must maintain a 3.0 grade point average for the duration of the scholarship
  • Financial need may be considered
  • Recipients may apply for renewal for a second year

Application process for first consideration
Submit completed financial aid forms, scholarship application, copy of tax forms and current transcript to the Financial Aid Office by 5 p.m., the last Friday in March.

Selection process

  • Applications will be screened by the Scholarship Committee
  • All decisions of the Scholarship Committee are final
  • Accounting faculty will be involved in the selection process
  • Late or incomplete applications will not be considered
