Building Industry Association of Clark County Scholarship

Purpose
To provide scholarship assistance to a CAD Drafting Technology student at Clark State Community College.

Award - one per year
$300 per Fall, Winter and Spring quarters toward tuition, fees and school-related supplies. Recipient may apply for renewal, up to a total of $900 per year for two years.

Eligibility

  • Must have completed all admissions requirements
  • Must take a minimum of 12 credit hours in the Fall Quarter
  • Recipient must carry a 2.5 minimum grade point average (high school, college or a minimum GED score of 53)
  • Must maintain a 2.5 grade point average for the duration of the scholarship

Application process for first consideration
Submit completed financial aid forms, scholarship application, copy of tax forms and current transcript to the Financial Aid Office by 5 p.m., the last Friday in March.

Selection process

  • Applications will be screened by the Scholarship Committee
  • Late or incomplete applications will not be considered
  • All decisions of the Scholarship Committee are final
