Arthur B. Wall Memorial Scholarship

Purpose

  • To provide scholarship assistance to a dependent of a law enforcement officer or a student employed in a law enforcement occupation
  • To recognize leadership potential in the area of law enforcement

Award - one per year

  • The award will cover tuition and school-related expenses, up to the total amount of the scholarship
  • The award will be issued once a year and can be used after September 1 of the application year

Eligibility

  • Must have completed all admissions requirements
  • Must be employed in a law enforcement occupation or a dependent of a law enforcement officer
  • Must have a 2.0 grade point average (high school, college or a minimum GED score of 53)
  • Student must apply for all federal financial aid
  • Financial need may be considered

Application process for first consideration
Submit completed financial aid forms, scholarship application, copy of tax forms and current transcript to the Financial Aid Office by 5 p.m., the last Friday in March.

Selection process

  • Applications will be screened by the Scholarship Committee
  • Late or incomplete applications will not be considered
  • All decisions of the Scholarship Committee are final
