Wall Memorial Scholarship
Purpose
- To provide
scholarship assistance to a dependent of a law enforcement
officer or a student employed in a law enforcement occupation
- To recognize
leadership potential in the area of law enforcement
Award - one
per year
- The award
will cover tuition and school-related expenses, up to the total
amount of the scholarship
- The award
will be issued once a year and can be used after September
1 of the application year
Eligibility
- Must have
completed all admissions requirements
- Must be
employed in a law enforcement occupation or a dependent of
a law enforcement officer
- Must have
a 2.0 grade point average (high school, college or a minimum
GED score of 53)
- Student
must apply for all federal financial aid
- Financial
need may be considered
Application
process for first consideration
Submit completed financial aid forms, scholarship application,
copy of tax forms and current transcript to the Financial Aid Office
by 5 p.m., the last Friday in March.
Selection process
- Applications
will be screened by the Scholarship Committee
- Late or
incomplete applications will not be considered
- All decisions
of the Scholarship Committee are final
