Barbara A. Davis Nursing Scholarship

Purpose
To assist a first-year health technology student in pursuing an education at Clark State.

Award - one per year

• Up to $600 per year (based upon endowment income) to be awarded quarterly
• Not renewable

Eligibility

• Preference will be given a graduate of Shawnee High. If no such qualified candidate apply for the scholarship, then it will be awarded to another student based upon the remaining criteria.
• Must be enrolled as a full-time student (minimum of 15 credit hours)
• Student must maintain a GPA of at least 2.5 to retain the scholarship
• Financial need will be a primary consideration
• Student must be resident of Clark County

Application process for first consideration
Submit completed financial aid forms, scholarship application, copy of tax forms and current transcript to the Financial Aid Office by 5 p.m., the last Friday in March.

Selection process

• Applications will be screened by the Scholarship Committee
• Late or incomplete applications will not be considered
• All decisions of the Scholarship Committee are final
