Dr. Shirley K. Schneider Scholarship

Purpose
To provide scholarship assistance to a displaced, female, homemaker who has applied to Clark State and who is presently attending the College

Award - one per year

  • Tuition, fees, books and essential supplies will be covered for one academic year, up to the total amount of the scholarship
  • The award is to be issued once a year and can be used after September 1 of the application year.
  • The award is for one year only, with the scholarship winner eligible to reapply the following year.

Eligibility

  • Must be full-time student (minimum 12 credit hours)
  • Must have a 2.5 grade point average (high school, college, or minimum GED score of 53) at the time of application for the scholarship
  • Must maintain a 2.5 grade point average for the duration of the scholarship.

Application process for first consideration
Submit completed financial aid forms, scholarship application, and official copy of latest transcript to the Foundation Office by the last Friday in March.

Selection process

  • Applications will be screened by the Scholarship Committee
  • Late or incomplete applications will not be considered
  • All decisions of the Scholarship Committee are final
