Consolidated Insurance Scholarship

Purpose

  • To provide financial assistance to students from the areas served by Clark State Community College
  • To aid in the retention of students

Award - multiple

  • The scholarships will cover tuition, books and other course-required supplies up to the total amount of the scholarship
  • The awards are issued quarterly and can be used after September 1 of the application year
  • Recipients may re-apply until 90 credit hours have been completed

Eligibility

  • Recipients may be a first-or second-year student
  • Student must be a resident of Clark or Champaign County
  • Recipients must enroll for and maintain a minimum of six credit hours for Fall, Winter and Spring quarters (Summer, if requested on application)
  • Recipient must carry a 2.5 minimum grade point average (high school, college or a minimum GED score of 53) and maintain a 2.5 grade point average for the duration of the scholarship
  • Recipient must apply for federal financial aid
  • Financial need and academic achievement will be considered

Application process for first consideration
Submit completed financial aid forms, scholarship application, and official copy of latest transcript to the Foundation Office by the deadline.

Selection process

  • Applications will be screened by the Scholarship Committee
  • Late or incomplete applications will not be considered
  • All decisions of the Scholarship Committee are final
