Warren G. Elliott Scholarship

Purpose
To provide scholarship assistance to a new or continuing Clark State student who has financial need.

Award - one per year

  • Tuition, fees, books and essential supplies will be covered for one academic year, up to the funds available under the scholarship
  • The award is to be issued once a year and can be used after September 1 of the application year
  • The award is for one year only, with the scholarship winner eligible for reapplication the following year, up to a total of eight quarters

Eligibility

  • Be a resident of Clark County
  • Pursue an associate degree in a technical or transfer program
  • Must be a full-time student (minimum 12 credit hours)
  • Must have graduated from high school with a minimum of a 2.5 grade point average or have maintained this average in an accredited college or university
  • Must maintain a 2.5 grade point average at Clark State

Application process for first consideration
Submit completed financial aid forms, scholarship application, copy of tax forms and current transcript to the Financial Aid Office by 5 p.m., the last Friday in March.

Selection process

  • Applications will be screened by the Scholarship Committee
  • Late or incomplete applications will not be considered
  • All decisions of the Scholarship Committee are final
