Faculty Scholarship

Purpose

  • To provide scholarship assistance to deserving second-year students in order to assist them in their studies at the College
  • To aid in the retention of students
  • To recognize academic achievement

Awards - see below

  • Two cash awards of $400 or four $200 cash awards will be given
  • These awards are to be issued once a year and can be used after September 1 of the application year
  • A student may receive this scholarship only once, but receipt of it in a given term does not preclude the seeking or receipt of other scholarships/grants

Eligibility

  • Must be a full-time student carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours at the time of receipt of the scholarship
  • Have completed 45 quarter hours of instruction at Clark State Community College (Students in their third quarter at the school may project completion of these requirements as of June of application year.)
  • Must carry a 3.0 minimum grade point average
  • All the above requirements must be met at the time of receipt of the award
  • Financial need may be considered

Application process for first consideration
Submit completed financial aid forms, scholarship application, copy of tax forms and current transcript to the Financial Aid Office by 5 p.m., the last Friday in March.

Selection process

  • Applications will be screened by the Faculty Scholarship Committee
  • Late or incomplete applications will not be considered
  • The decisions of the Faculty Scholarship Committee are final
