Student Support Services

The Student Support Services Program will help you meet the challenges of college life. We’ll help you achieve your educational goals by providing personal assistance with college services.

Do you need basic study skills preparation; tutoring; financial aid assistance; personal, career, transfer counseling; academic advising; or mentoring? Let us provide you with the tools to complete your college degree.

You are initially eligible for the Student Support Services Program if you are:

  • Required to take at least one developmental class as indicated by the COMPASS Placement Test
  • Enrolled in either a two-year technical degree or a transfer degree program

In addition to the requirements above, you must also meet at least one of the categories below to be considered for the Student Support Services Program.

  • A first-generation college student (neither parent has a four-year college degree)
  • A family taxable income not exceeding 150% of the federal poverty guideline
  • A documented mental or physical disability

If you meet the above qualifications, you should submit an application (PDF) for Student Support Services. Space is limited. For more information, contact Student Support Services in Rhodes Hall, Room 127, at 937/328-3855.
