Business Certificates

Clark State Community College offers numerous business technical certificates. 

  • These can put you on the fast-track to reaching your career goals.
  • These are designed to equip you with a specialized skill set for immediate employment or to upgrade your skills for job advancement.
  • They can be completed in one year or less (anywhere from 31 to 69 credits).
  • All courses in the certificates below can be applied to an associate's degree.

Customer Service Departmental Certificate (31 credits): This certificate is focused on developing the essential skills and knowledge needed by anyone desiring to provide excellent service to customers-, both internal and external. This is particularly focused on meeting needs and expectations of an organization's customers.

Human Resource Management Departmental Certificate (69 credits): This certificate is focused on developing the essential knowledge and skills needed by an individual who wants to work in the human resource field.

Logistics & Supply Chain Management Departmental Certificate (62 credits): This certificate is focused on developing essential knowledge and skills needed by an individual who wants to work in the acquisition and/or distribution of materials and products.

Management Certificate (53 credits): The Management certificate provides students with an overview of the business environment and a background for understanding and managing people. It provides them with the foundational knowledge of accounting and financial issues needed by all managers.

Marketing and E-Business Departmental Certificate (50 credits): This certificate is focused on developing the essential knowledge and skills needed by an individual who wants to work in the marketing field.

Small Business Departmental Certificate (56 credits): This certificate is focused on developing the essential knowledge needed by an individual who wants to start a small business. It will provide the student with the necessary tools for developing a successful business operation.

Supervisory Departmental Certificate (32 credits): This certificate is focused on developing the essential skills and knowledge needed by first-line supervisors. It will provide an individual the tools with which to motivate, challenge and manage employees.
