Clark State to Build Downtown

Published: 9/28/2009

Clark State President Dr. Karen Rafinski has announced that a new multi-purpose facility, the Creative Arts and Conference Center, will be constructed in downtown Springfield. Design plans will be unveiled at a news conference on Tuesday, September 29, 2009, at 11 a.m. at the building site just north of the Clark State Performing Arts Center on Limestone Street (in the parking lot of the Performing Arts Center).

"We are delighted to be able to continue our role in the revitalization of downtown Springfield with a beautiful new venue to serve the needs of businesses, arts groups, youth outreach, and the residents of this area," said Rafinski. "This is truly a facility that will serve all of our community."
