Paramedic to Registered Nurse (RN) ProgramPublished: 7/14/2009 Paramedic to Registered Nurse (RN) Program approved and enrolling students into nursing courses Fall Quarter 2009. Clark State Community College has collaborated with Good Samaritan Hospital and the Nursing Institute of West Central Ohio to offer an advanced placement Paramedic to RN Transition Program for area paramedics interested in obtaining a registered nursing degree. This program has been approved by the Ohio Board of Nursing (OBN) and the National League of Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC). The first cohort of students will start their nursing courses Fall Quarter 2009. Classroom and lab sessions will be offered at Clark State’s Greene Center campus with clinical learning experiences at Good Samaritan Hospital and other area health care facilities.
