Record-Breaking Enrollment

Clark State Community College has enjoyed record-breaking enrollment for the last two years and Fall Quarter 2009 is no exception. For the first time in history, more than 4,300 students are enrolled at the College – a 27 percent increase over last years’ numbers. The number of credit hours students are completing has increased by 28.4 percent.

The Clark State Greene Center in Beavercreek has seen an 82 percent jump to 800 students. The number of credit hours the Greene Center students are completing has increased 90 percent over Fall 2008.

"We have seen in increase in students of all ages," said Dr. Karen E. Rafinski, president. "Displaced workers are turning to Clark State to retrain for new careers and more recent high school graduates are making the choice to start at Clark State and transfer to complete a bachelor’s degree. Our affordable tuition and online offerings are very attractive to students looking to complete a college degree."
