Springfield News-Sun $2500 Scholarships

Two Springfield News-Sun Scholarships, funded by the James M Cox, Jr. Foundation, are available to students interested in a career in the newspaper industry. Career areas may include journalism, advertising, art, accounting and computer services.

Applicants must:

• Be at least a sophomore
• Be able to demonstrate interest in pursuing a career in newspapers
• Reside (or parents must reside) in the communities served by Springfield Newspapers, Inc.
• Have a minimum 3.00 GPA for at least the previous academic year
• Submit an application by July 24, 2009

Applications are available in the Financial Aid Office.
