Theatre Production of EurydicePublished: 10/19/2009 The Clark State Community College Theatre Arts Program will present Eurydice, written by Sarah Ruhl and directed by Theresa Abshear Lauricella, over two weekends - October 30, 31, November 6, and 7 at 8 p.m. and November 1 and 8 at 3 p.m. at the Clark State Performing Arts Center, Turner Studio Theatre, located in downtown Springfield. In Eurydice, Sarah Ruhl re-imagines the classic myth of Orpheus through the eyes of its heroine. With contemporary characters, ingenious plot twists and breath taking visual effects, the play is a fresh look at this timeless love story. The cast includes Elizabeth Dillard as Eurydice, Nicklaus Moberg as Orpheus and features Thomas Cole Schreier, Joel Bonsell, Sarah L. Ballenger, Adam Hardy and Sarah Miles. Scenic and sound designed by Geoffrey D. Moss, lighting co-designed by Ryan Knox and Moss with costumes designed by Debbie Henderson. Ticket prices: Adults: $10 and Students: $8.
