Online Learning Complaint Process

Clark State Community College is currently authorized to offer distance education programs in: California, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Washington with further sites pending approval.

ClarkOnline students from out of state should attempt to resolve any issues or complaints with Clark State first. To do this, you may request the amendment of your education records if you believe it is inaccurate or misleading. You should write the College official responsible for the record, clearly identify the part of the record you want changed and specify why it is inaccurate or misleading. If the problem is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may take the matter to the Dean of Student Affairs and (in absence of resolution satisfactory to you) to a formal hearing in accordance with the College's established grievance procedures.

However, if an issue cannot be resolved internally, you may file a complaint about Clark State with your state by referring to the following list of State Agencies in compliance with Federal Department of Education regulations. You may also contact our accrediting agency, North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, Higher Learning Commission.
