Application for Admission

Application Instructions
Please follow the admission procedures outlined below to ensure prompt processing of your application. Feel free to contact the Admissions Office at 937/328-6028 if you have questions about these procedures. We look forward to having you as a new student at Clark State!

  1. Complete the application form. The one-time $15 processing fee will be charged at your first registration for courses.
  2. If you are transferring from an accredited college or university and would like to transfer this credit, a transcript(s) must be sent directly by this college/university to Clark State Admissions Office. It is important to follow up your request by ensuring that the transcript(s) is received by the Clark State Admissions Office. If majoring in the Realtime Reporting area, you will need to submit official high school transcripts or official GED scores, and if you're attending other colleges, official college transcripts.
  3. New applicants must take the free placement test administered by the College. These test results will help you and us make wise scheduling choices for you.

After you are accepted to Clark State, we will send you information regarding orientation and registration.

Fresh Start
If you are returning to Clark State after three or more years, you can get a fresh start on your grade point average. Check with the Records and Registration Office at 937/328-6015 for more information.

Mature Citizens
If you are 60 years of age or over, you are eligible for fee waivers for both credit and noncredit courses as class enrollment permits. Applications and questions should be directed to the Admissions Office.

Other Applicants
If you have special admissions needs (transients, early admission or "ability to benefit"), you should check with the Admissions Office for specific admissions requirements. If you are a cross registration applicant, you should check with the Records and Registration Office. International students should visit the International Student Services section of the Clark State web site.
