Parking Permits

All motor vehicles parked on the Clark State campuses by faculty, staff and students must have a properly displayed permit. There is no fee for Clark State parking permits. You need to know the make, model and license plate number of your vehicle to properly complete your registration form. Parking permits can be obtained at any time throughout the academic year.

Clark State parking permits are for Clark State parking lots only and are not valid on city streets. Permits are issued to faculty, staff and students. Permits expire June 30 of each year. Permits are numbered and must be hung from the rearview mirror with the permit facing out or placed in the left hand corner of the dashboard. You must display a Clark State permit to park in the lots owned by the College. Parking in College lots is permitted for those engaged in Clark State related business or events.

Parking and driving on campus are permitted in accordance with these regulations, which are designed with the safety of students, faculty, staff and visitors as its goal. Drivers should observe all College, local and state traffic and parking regulations and drive safely giving pedestrians the right of way at all times. Anyone operating a vehicle on campus is responsible for learning and complying with all traffic and parking regulations. The College reserves the right to ticket, immobilize and/or tow, at the owner’s expense, any vehicle in violation of established traffic and parking regulations. In addition, persistent violators may have their parking privileges revoked. Clark State parking permits allow parking in assigned parking lots or parking areas within lots. The responsibility of finding a legal parking space rests with the vehicle operator. Lack of parking spaces is not considered a valid excuse for violation of these regulations. Displaying a Clark State permit does not guarantee you a parking space.

The College assumes no responsibility for the care of, damage to and/or protection of any vehicle or its contents at any time while it is operated on or parked on campus. All vehicles should be locked when left unattended and valuables should be secured out of sight.
