Six Sigma/Green Belt/Black Belt Training

The goals of Six Sigma include reducing defects using data driven, methodical, team driven approach to problem solving; reducing costs attributed to waste; improving customer satisfaction and achieving breakthrough improvement. Substantial business savings of $50,000 are typical results of this training. Come learn more about this management process that can improve your business’s future through improved customer satisfaction.

Green Belt/Black Belt Training consists of 8 days of training over 2-3 months working on a project completed in the class.

Six Sigma is a data-driven approach to problem solving, focusing on defect reduction and process improvement, and almost always resulting in cost savings. Specific projects are customer focused, using a team approach to resolve problems. The methodology follows a structured sequence of problem solving techniques to arrive at a solution. Statistics aid in the decision-making process and help to validate the success of changes.

You’ve probably heard of the Six Sigma deployments at General Electric and Motorola. Since its inception, the Six Sigma strategy has been implemented in many other companies. And it’s not only happening at large manufacturing facilities, but also at catering services, car washes, medical services, printing companies and utilities. Companies of all shapes and sizes are using the methodologies of Six Sigma to reduce defects in their industries and benefit their bottom lines.

The Green Belt class will take you through the phases of Six Sigma: Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control. The class is “hands on” in format using class projects and data within the scope of the classroom setting.
