Safety Escorts
Students, faculty and staff who would like safety escorts to their vehicle should call Campus Police at extension 3856.
Jump Start Service
Clark State staff will provide vehicle battery jump starts for faculty, staff and students at the Leffel Lane Campus and the Downtown Campus. Individuals requesting this service will be required to sign a waiver. Contact Campus Police at extension 3856 to request this service. Please be aware that there may be delays in responding to these calls due to workload and travel time.
Lockout Service
Campus Police will provide lockout service for faculty, staff and students who lock their keys in their vehicle. Individuals requesting this service will be required to sign a waiver and a vehicle check will be conducted to ensure the individual is the owner of the vehicle. Contact Campus Police at extension 3856 to request this service. Please be aware that there may be delays in responding to these calls due to workload and travel time.
Parking Lot Safety Tips
- Lock all doors and close all windows.
- Roll up windows tightly.
- Do not leave valuable items in plain sight.
- Park in well-lit areas.
- Do not leave your vehicle in one spot for several days.
- Check your vehicle periodically.
- Report crimes or suspicious individuals to the Campus Police Department.
- Notify the Campus Police Department when your vehicle becomes disabled and will need to remain in a parking lot overnight.
- Report ice or other problems to the Campus Police Department.
- Drive slowly through campus lots at a speed less than 20 miles per hour.
- Look under, around, and in the back seat of your vehicle as you approach it.
- Do not walk alone at night. Call the Campus Police Department at extension 3856 for a safety escort.
