Assignments and ExamsAll assignments must be labeled properly in order to receive credit. Make sure that you staple multiple pages of one assignment together. Create a cover page for each assignment with the following information:
You can do all of your assignments off campus providing you have the correct hardware/software. Clark State currently uses Microsoft Windows 7 as its operating system and Microsoft Office Professional 2007 for its application software package. Read and work through the textbook material before attempting to do the end of unit assignments. The units in the textbook are designed so that what you learn in Unit A will also be used in Unit B, Unit C and so on. Working through each unit prepares you for the assignment activities. Attempt each assignment several times starting from the beginning, if necessary, before you seek the assistance of the lab instructor. The best learning occurs if you can figure things out for yourself. Self-paced instructors are not to be considered personal tutors. Please read information provided in this orientation about tutoring services. You should schedule to take exams with the self-paced instructor in-person if you are planning to take them during final exam week. A notebook is located in the self-paced lab for scheduling exam times. All homework assignments must be completed and submitted prior to final exam week in order to receive credit for them.
