Self-Paced Lab Procedures

Students are asked to sign in and out every time they use the self-paced computer lab. Scheduled lab hours may vary by location and by quarter. During Summer term, lab hours will be reduced to 25 with no Friday or Saturday lab hours. Lab hours are always listed on the last page of the self-paced handbook.

Please turn your cell phone to vibrate mode and leave the room in order to carry on a conversation on your phone.

No food or drinks, other than sports bottles placed on the floor, are permitted in any computer lab. Food and drinks should be consumed in the TLC or Greene Center cafe areas only.

Come to the self-paced lab during scheduled lab hours to:

  • take tests
  • submit assignments
  • get help
  • check your grades

The lab instructors have much more time to help you during the first weeks of the quarter than they will closer to finals week.

Campus Safety
If you would ever feel uncomfortable while using a lab on either campus due to the presence of another person in the lab with you, do not remain in that lab. Gather up your belongings and leave the area and report the situation to a Clark State employee. Report suspicious behavior to campus personnel. Never leave any personal belongings unattended at any time.
