STNA
This 76-hour course will introduce the students to the principles and procedures of basic patient care for individuals in the long-term care setting. The course is regulated by the Ohio Department of Health and attendance is required. The students will be given both classroom and clinical experience. An 80 percent or higher is required on the final exam. Each student must have a two-step TB test completed prior to going to the clinical site. After successfully completing the course the students will be eligible to sit for the Ohio State Tested Nurse Aide exam. The fee for the exam is not included in the cost of the course.
