The end of high school doesn’t have to mean the end of your sports career. Athletics can be a part of your collegiate experience, too.
Clark State is a charter member of the Ohio Collegiate Athletic Conference (OCAC) and has a long history of championship-caliber teams. A tradition we intend to keep. We’re also proud of the fact several Clark State players have been named to All-American teams. And just in case you’re interested, our athletes often make the transition to four-year schools after completing two years at Clark State.
Clark State is also a member of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA). The USCAA sponsors 10 championships for men and women.
Full-time students who are interested in becoming a member of a Clark State athletic team should complete the Student Athlete Questionnaire. Talent grants and financial assistance are available to those who qualify and are registered full-time.
Not ready to dust off your cleats or high tops? You can be a part of Eagle Athletics as a fan, and get into the games for free with your Clark State ID. Faculty and staff can also attend for free which makes a great opportunity to meet your instructors out of the classroom. Admission for visitors ages 18-62 is $5. Schedules are available in the Admissions Office on the Leffel Lane Campus and right here on the website.
We also offer a variety of intramural sports for those who are looking for a little less athletic commitment. Intramural teams have included volleyball, basketball, tennis, softball, whiffle ball, flag football and golf. Any group of students may form an intramural team by contacting the Athletics Office.
Open gym hours are posted in the Wellness Center and may vary due to intramural and athletic programs. The gymnasium is open to students, faculty and staff with a valid Clark State ID. Times are subject to change without notice and College athletic teams have priority.
