Student
Organizations
Student led organizations are avenues for you to express yourself at Clark State.
You are encouraged to cultivate interests and ideas and develop
individual talents within an organized atmosphere. This allows
you to improve your skills, express your concerns and develop
ideas for your future.
Student Senate
is the leadership organization. The Student Senate provides
a forum for issues concerning the student body to be discussed,
listens to the students' ideas, organizes and approves activities
for the campus community, charters other organizations and may provide financial resources for activities and organizations that add to the well-being of the entire student body.
Organizations
at Clark State include Student Senate; Phi Theta Kappa,
the honor society; Campus Chronicle,
the school newspaper; Minority Forum; Social Work Club; Gay/Straight Alliance; Chess Club; Creative Writing Club; and Student Nurses' Association.
If you are
interested in joining a student organization, you should complete
a membership application.
If the organizations that already exist do not support your personal
interests, you may petition to
form a new student organization.
