WebAdvisor allows students to register for classes, pay online, check financial aid, see a class schedule, and access grades and transcripts. You will need your assigned username and seven-digit student number as your password to access WebAdvisor.

What is WebAdvisor?
WebAdvisor is a secure web-based system at Clark State for students to register and pay online; see and print a class schedule, grades and unofficial transcripts; check financial aid; or get a program evaluation.
How do I log in to WebAdvisor?
All user accounts for computer systems are set up similarly with your username being the first five letters of your last name (or your entire last name if it is less than five letters) followed by your first initial and the last four digits of your Student ID number. Your username will look something like this: smithj1234. Your initial password is all seven digits of your Student ID number.
When you log in to WebAdvisor the first time, you will be asked to change your password. This password will not be kept on file at Clark State. Only you will know your new password. If you forget the new password, you can use the “Reset My Password” feature in WebAdvisor. An e-mail with a new temporary password will be sent to your GroupWise student e-mail.

This is my first quarter, can I use WebAdvisor to register for classes?
No. Your WebAdvisor account is activated only after you register for your first quarter at Clark State. Once your first quarter registration is processed, you can immediately start using WebAdvisor to add and drop classes if necessary. You WebAdvisor account will continue to remain active up to three years after you stop attending Clark State so that you can continue to access unofficial transcripts and register for classes if you choose to return.
Why don’t I see my final grade?
Faculty have until 5 p.m. on the Tuesday after final exam week to post grades. If you do not see your final grade after this time, you should contact the faculty member for your course.

I reset my password but haven’t received an e-mail with a new password. What do I do?
If you have reset your password in WebAdvisor, you should receive an e-mail in your Clark State GroupWise account. If you do not receive the e-mail, please contact the Clark State HelpDesk at 937/328-6121. It is possible that WebAdvisor has the wrong e-mail address on file for you.
Is my User ID the same as my Username?
Yes. The screens in WebAdvisor use the term User ID instead of Username.

Can I reset my User ID?
No. Your User ID will always remain the same. It will be the first five letters of your last name (or your entire last name if it is less than five letters) followed by your first initial and the last four digits of your Student ID number.

What is a program evaluation?
A program evaluation shows you the classes you have taken that meet the degree requirements for your program. This is a great tool to determine what classes you still need to take in order to graduate.

How do I use Express Registration?
Each course is assigned a unique Call Number. The Call Number is found at the beginning of each section in the class schedule. After you log in to WebAdvisor and choose the Student Menu, click on Register for Sections under the Registration heading. On the Register for Sections screen, click on the Express Registration link. On Express Registration all you have to enter is the four-digit Call Number to pull up the class you want to register for. The only time you will need to enter the term is when registration periods for more than one quarter are held at the same time. For instance, you can register for Summer and Fall quarters at the same time, so when using Express Registration, you must also enter the term to differentiate between the two quarters.
Where do I go to pay online?
Payments for your tuition and fees can be made 24/7 using WebAdvisor. You will find a link to Make a Payment under the Financial Information heading on the Student Menu. You can use Discover, MasterCard and Visa.

What if I need an official transcript?
Although WebAdvisor gives you access to unofficial transcripts, you made need an official transcript for your job or to show credit to another school. You can request official transcripts through the College’s website under Student Records.
