Where to Park on Campus
To assist people in using the lots, faculty and staff lots are designated with the appropriate signage including handicapped and visitor spaces. All other spaces and lots are available for student/seminar use.
After Hours Parking
The College assumes no responsibility for the care of, damage to and/or protection of any vehicle or its contents at any time while it is parked on campus during or after normal operating hours.
Parking for People with Disabilities
Use of handicapped parking spaces is restricted to only those vehicles with a state-issued handicapped license plate or a properly displayed state-issued handicapped certificate. Quick errands, deliveries or drop-offs are not valid excuses for parking in or obstructing handicapped spaces or fire lanes. Violators will be ticketed and their vehicles could be towed.
Abandoned Vehicles
Clark State has adequate parking available for faculty, staff, students and visitors. Clark State cannot allow needed space to be used as storage for unwanted or abandoned vehicles. Vehicles (even those with valid permits) parked in Clark State lots must be moved within three days or shall be deemed abandoned and may be ticketed and/or immobilized or towed unless specifically authorized by the Campus Police Department.
Emergency Parking Situations
In the event of vehicle breakdown, flat tires or severe weather situations, individuals should immediately contact the Campus Police Department to obtain short-term exceptions to parking prohibitions. The Campus Police Department cannot authorize a vehicle to remain illegally parked in handicapped spaces, fire lanes, blocking traffic, etc., and reserves the right to deny an emergency parking request.
