Clark State Community College is currently accepting applications for the positions listed below in each discipline. Positions are available for day and evening, classroom and online. Prior teaching in a collegiate setting is preferred. Blackboard certification required for all online instruction. Training will be provided.

Compensation for Adjuncts in Non-Clinical Courses: $520.00 - $577.50 per load hour or $26.50 - $29.50 per contact hour based upon length of service with Clark State. Compensation for Adjuncts in Clinical Courses: $31.00 - $36.50 per contact hour based upon length of service with Clark State.

Arts & Sciences

The Associate of Arts and the Associate of Science degrees offered through Clark State's Arts & Sciences Division are designed for students whose primary goal is to transfer to a four-year college or university after attending Clark State. Adjunct teaching opportunities are available in classroom and online environments at various outreach site locations, including Ohio Hi-Point Career Center, Greene County Career Center, Clark State's Springfield campuses, and our Greene Center in Beavercreek.

Minimum Requirements for Arts & Sciences
Master's degree and a minimum of 18 semester credit hours
in the discipline or related field. Foreign language credentials considered individually. Classroom teaching experience preferred.

Business and Applied Technologies

Minimum Requirements for Business and Applied Technologies
Teaching experience is preferred for all positions. Generally a master's degree is required. In a few select areas, less than a master's degree will be considered with adequate work experience and/or industry credentials.

We are currently seeking Adjunct instructors for the following disciplines:

• Cybersecurity
• Computer Networking
• Business Law
• Management
• Manufacturing
• DC Circuits
preferably Mechanical and Electrical Engineers able to teach DC Circuits
• 2D AutoCAD – preferably able to also teach Inventor (Software)
• Inventor (Software)
• CNC (Computer Numerical Control)

Health, Human and Public Services

We are currently seeking part-time instructors for the following areas. Teaching experience is preferred for all positions.

We are currently seeking Adjunct instructors for the following disciplines:

Registered Nursing Program
• Ongoing needs for clinical instructors for medical-surgical and specialty courses in Clark, Greene, Logan and Union counties.
• Current Ohio licensure as a registered nurse,
2 years recent clinical experience, and a bachelor’s degree in nursing required. Master’s degree in nursing preferred

Practical Nursing Program
• Classroom and clinical instructors for medical – surgical and specialty areas in Clark and Greene counties.
• Current Ohio licensure as a registered nurse and recent clinical practice experience required. Bachelor’s degree in nursing required for classroom instruction and preferred for clinical instruction. Master’s degree preferred.

Allied Health Courses
• Classroom and skill lab instructors for a variety of allied health courses including Medical Terminology, Intro to Health Care, Intro to EKG and Phlebotomy at Clark and Greene County campuses.
• Degree and experience in a health care discipline required.

Medical Assisting
• Classroom and skills lab instructors for exam room (clinical) and lab procedures courses for Springfield campus.
• RN, LPN, or Certified Medical Assistant with recent clinical experience in physician’s office, outpatient clinic, or other ambulatory healthcare setting. Degree in health related field preferred.

Medical Laboratory Technician
• Online instructors and lab instructors for Springfield campus.
• Medical Technologist with ASCP certification required.

Physical Therapist Assistant
Online instructors and skills lab instructors for Springfield and Columbus labs.
• Current licensure as Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant and recent clinical experience required.

Sciences (Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology)
• Online, hybrid and lab instructors for Clark, Greene and Logan County campuses.
