CNC Technical Operator
Students who finish this training program will be eligible to apply for Clark State credit hours towards a certificate in our Advanced Manufacturing programs through our prior learning assessment process.
The 80 hour, noncredit, CNC Technical Operator training will give students the foundation knowledge of manufacturing and CNC operations. Training will cover both manual machining principles, as well as, CNC milling and turning entry level operations.
Overview of the manufacturing process, including machine tool operations, CNC setup and operation, as well as, setup and operation of manual metal lathe, mill, drill press and band saw for completion of lathe and milling projects.
Students will have the opportunity to test for their NIMS Measurement, Materials and Safety national credential.
