English Transfer Pathway

Step 1: Earn your associate degree with the English transfer pathway

Community college students who follow the OGTP in English and complete an AA degree can transfer seamlessly to any of the following private four-year colleges and universities in Ohio. These four-year colleges have approved the transfer pathway in English so that you will transfer with maximum credit from your associate degree. Here are the benefits for you:

  • Clarity in the courses you take at Clark State College, and assurance that your courses will transfer smoothly toward the bachelor’s degree in English.
  • Introductory major courses and most, if not all, general education courses at the four-year private college will be completed from courses taken in your associate degree.
  • Transfer as a college junior with maximum credit counting toward the bachelor’s degree.
  • Finish your bachelor’s degree in as little as two years, enrolled as a full-time student.
  • Transfer advisors at Clark State College and the four-year colleges are working together for your success to guide you every step of the way.
