Clark State PAC to Celebrate 30 Years, 2023-24 Season Announcement Coming in May

May 1, 2023

The Clark State Performing Arts Center (PAC) will celebrate its 30th anniversary and raise the curtain on live performances for the 2023-24 season beginning in late September.

On November 6, 1993, the Clark State Performing Arts Center held it’s grand opening with a Gala Opening Night hosted by stage and screen stars Joel Grey and Terri Garr.

“The black-tie affair honored all those who worked so hard to make the performing arts center a reality, including Richard and Barbara Kuss, Harry Turner, Clark State President Al Salerno, the Springfield Symphony Orchestra, the Springfield Arts Council, and all the members of our generous community,” said Dan Hunt, general manager, Clark State Performing Arts Center.

Hunt said the United States Herald Trumpets opened the ceremony with the Star Spangled Banner performed by the Springfield Symphony Orchestra and the Ohio Lyric Theatre Adult and Children's Chorus.

“And now 30 years later, here we are, still going strong, offering consistently great entertainment for our community,” he said. “Join us this coming season for another breath-taking season of great entertainment. Look for our 30th anniversary season announcement in mid-May.”

With a mix of theatre, live music, magic, and multi-media experiences, tickets to the 2023-2024 season will be available this summer.
