The Clark State College Nursing program will hold orientation on November 30 for the new cohort of LPN and RN students who will begin classes in January of 2023. The event will also include a mini-career fair.

“As a way to build and nurture partnerships we have invited various health systems - Mercy, Premier, and Kettering – to campus,” said Dr. Scott Dolan, director of nursing programs at Clark State. “I am hoping that such events create opportunities for our students for both educational and employment purposes.”

Dolan also said partnerships like this are a great way to address the healthcare professional shortage in the area and to recruit and retain future RNs for the Clark and Greene County area.

The orientation event will be held from 8 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, November 30, in the Applied Science Center on Clark State’s main campus in Springfield.
