Clark State to Offer ISO 9001 Training Consortium, In-person and Virtual Options Available

January 6, 2023

Clark State College will continue to offer ISO 9001 training. This training consortium offers companies the opportunity to implement an ISO 9001 system in only 12 weeks (1 day per week). Training will be available at Clark State locations in Clark, Champaign, Logan, and Greene counties or virtually. Cost is $9,500 for any size business.

ISO 9001 is the international standard for a quality management system (“QMS”).  In order to be certified to the ISO 9001 standard, a company must follow the requirements set forth in the ISO 9001 Standard. The standard is used by organizations to demonstrate their ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements and to demonstrate continuous improvement

The next training consortium will begin January 26, 2023 and run through April 13, 2023.

“The Clark State program has served a plethora of businesses since its onset,” said Crystal Jones, vice president of marketing, diversity and community impact at Clark State. “The ‘train the trainer’ model has provided business with 50 employees an affordable option to becoming be certified. As we continue to support our current employers, we also want to prepare to support new companies coming to the state.”

The Clark State ISO 9001 training program launched in 2017 and has served more than 50 companies.

Clark State’s Workforce and Business Solutions works closely with partner organizations to ensure regional business needs are being met. The ISO 9001 training is offered in conjunction with the Greene County Department of Development, The Chamber of Greater Springfield, Aerospace Professional Development Center, Tech Hub Aerospace Materials and Manufacturing, FASTLANE, Dayton Region Manufacturers Association and ICQ, The ISO Professionals, LLC.
