Are you struggling with classes or skills?

Don't struggle any longer. Allow us to help you!

The Student Academic Support Center assists students in developing learning skills. Free services include:

  • Individual tutoring
  • Writing assistance
  • Group tutoring
  • Computerized instructional programs
  • Study skills workshops
  • Placement testing

If you're struggling with a class or need help with homework, come to the Student Academic Support Center on the first floor of Rhodes Hall on Leffel Lane Campus or at the Greene Center in Beavercreek.

Hours and tutoring schedules are posted on the myClarkState student portal. No appointment is necessary for tutoring.

Students must make an appointment for testing in all locations, show a valid photo ID and provide a Clark State student ID number. Unattended children are not permitted anywhere on campus.

The first month I was afraid to come in to the Academic Support Center because it’s hard admitting you need help. Once I overcame that fear, I started coming in to use the tutoring services about 2-3 times a week.- Luke Allen Lieghley, Mechanical Engineering Program at Clark State
