Thinking about Welding?
Clark State offers two welding courses at the Greene County Career Center.
In this nine-week, 72-hour course, you'll gain a basic technical understanding of ARC, MIG and TIG welding fundamentals, welding safety and equipment operation. Get hands-on welding experience in a modern ARC complete lab setting to assist you to develop the manual skills needed to make high quality welds, utilizing the processes on various metals.
Students are responsible for personal welding supplies including: welding jacket, helmet, gloves, welding hammer, wire brush, clear safety glasses and steel-toed shoes.

This 60-hour training is for both entry-level and experienced welders looking to get into the aerospace welding industry in our region. This class is led by an experienced welder and the curriculum includes entry-level skills of gas tungsten ARC welding while focusing on the specifications and techniques used in the aerospace industry. This class is limited to 5 attendees and designed to make sure students receive as much one-on-one training as possible.
