Clark State Appoints New Vice President

November 18, 2013

Clark State Community College has appointed Theresa B. Felder to be the new Vice President of Student Services and Greene Center Operations. Felder, currently the dean of the Greene Center campus, will begin her new position on December 2, 2013.

“Theresa has been a strong and effective leader in every position she’s held at Clark State,” said Dr. Jo Alice Blondin, president, Clark State Community College. “She was the natural choice to fill this new position. Her new responsibilities include aligning student services activities across all campus locations, as well as managing strategic growth at our Beavercreek campus as we continue to focus on retention and completion.”

Felder has been at Clark State since 2004 in a variety of roles. She has served as the Dean of the Greene Center campus in Beavercreek for the past year and as the Academic Affairs Coordinator at that campus. Felder was the director of GEAR UP, an academic support and college awareness program for teens from 2006 to 2011. Prior to these positions, she worked with the CareerPlus Program and Workforce Investment Act (WIA) through Clark State and served as the workforce development manager in the corporate services division.

Felder holds a master’s degree in administration from Central Michigan University and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Utica College of Syracuse University.

“I’m extremely excited about the opportunity to serve students in an even greater capacity,” said Felder. “Clark State has a great team of committed employees who are focused on serving students from the point of first contact through graduation.”
