Clark State Baseball Team to Host Golf Scramble

August 21, 2017

The Clark State Community College Eagles baseball team will host a golf scramble on Saturday, September 16 at Locust Hills Golf Club in Springfield.

Clark State Director of Athletics and Student Life Justin McCulla said the funds raised from the golf scramble will be used towards field updates, facility rentals, equipment upgrades, new uniforms and the spring trip to Tennessee to play Division I NJCAA teams.

There will be a silent auction of autographed items, a buy-in table for each team to buy up to four Mulligans to help their scores and a 50/50 raffle.

There will be contests and prizes for longest drive, closest to the pin, Mulligan buy-in and longest putt.

I am excited to see our baseball coaching staff help our student-athletics by coordinating this scramble,” said McCulla. “I look forward to seeing everyone out at the golf course to help support our baseball team.”

Registration is $50 and can be completed online at: http://www.golfoutingpro.com/event/clarkstatebaseball-1

The scramble will begin at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start and is open to everyone. For sponsorship opportunities, contact Coach Chase Brown at (937) 901-4158 or brownc@clarkstate.edu.
