Clark State Community College was able to hold enrollment steady as colleges nationwide are seeing a decline. This fall, 4,981 students are enrolled in 47,606 credit hours online and at campus locations in Beavercreek, Springfield, Urbana and Bellefontaine.

“Clark State’s strong transfer programs, as well as our programs focused on emerging technologies and skilled trades are helping make college affordable and relevant in our communities,” said Dr. Jo Alice Blondin, president, Clark State Community College. “Holding enrollment stable in the face of an improving economy is a testament to the progressive and diligent work of the College’s faculty and staff.”

The College has also seen an increase in both male and minority students. Enrollment has increased by six percent in Champaign County and fifteen percent in Logan County. Clark State is also seeing growth in surrounding counties outside of its service district (Clark, Champaign, Greene and Logan).
