Clark State Student Receives Ground Management Scholarship

Clark State Community College student Jeffrey Fox has been awarded a $1,100 scholarship from the Professional Grounds Management Society (PGMS). Fox, who is studying turf and landscape operations, is the first Clark State student to apply for this scholarship.

The PGMS scholarship committee awards monetary scholarships to students in horticulture or related fields who have solid grades and past or present employment in the green industry, involvement in the industry through apprentice or professional organizations such as FFA or 4H, have taken professional development classes and are involved in sports or campus activities.

Fox was sponsored by Clark State Professors Dr. Larry Everett and Dr. Susan Everett.
