Clark State to Offer Informational Sessions for Prospective Nursing Students

July 21, 2017

Clark State Community College will host informational sessions for students interested in entering the career field of nursing.

“The informational session is intended to help students clarify their goals when pursuing nursing as a career option,” said Gwen Stevenson, director of nursing programs for Clark State. “Prospective nursing students often have questions about the program and the requirements. The informational session is being offered to give students an opportunity to ask questions and find out more about our program.”

Interested students can expect to learn about employment options available in the nursing profession, the design and requirements of the Clark State nursing programs, guidance for how to get started and what the application process involves.

The Registered Nursing (RN) Program informational session will be held at 5:30 p.m., Monday, July 24 in the Sara T. Landess Technology and Learning Center, Room 140 on Clark State’s Springfield campus.

The Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) Program informational session will be held at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 26 in the Sara T. Landess Technology and Learning Center, Room 140 on Clark State’s Springfield campus.

Clark State plans to offer similar events at the Beavercreek campus in the fall.
