The Clark State Community College Office of Student Support will offer several opportunities for students and the community to receive and participate in various services throughout the fall semester.
“Many of our students deal with challenges relating to financial concerns, housing and food insecurities, physical or health well-being or social and adjustment issues,” said Nina Wiley, dean of student engagement and support services. “The Office of Student Support provides outreach, resources, referrals and follow-up services to foster student growth and success.”
The Office of Student Support provides support to address a variety of issues, including housing displacement, lack of childcare, transportation barriers, financial emergencies, food insecurity and physical health and wellness.

Second Harvest Food Bank Mobile Pantry
October 2, November 6, December 4, 2-3 p.m.: Clark State, 570 East Leffel Lane, Springfield, in parking lot G.Food is available for students and the public in need of nutritional assistance. Bring state ID, plus proof of current address. Income is self-reported. Pantry runs on a first-come, first-served basis. Bring sturdy bags or boxes for food. Questions? Mercy Health Mobile Mammography Unit

The choice of 2D or the latest 3D imaging will be available. Clients should contact their insurance company regarding 3D coverage, as not all companies provide this service. There are several options for financial assistance. Walk-ins are welcome, but should allow for 45 minutes to complete registration, paperwork and imaging. Clients need to bring a photo ID and insurance card.
Flu Shot Clinic
Tuesdays and Thursdays in October, 9 a.m. – 5:45 p.m.;Fridays in October, 8 a.m. – 12:45 p.m., Mercy Health Springfield Primary Care at Clark State located in the Applied Science Center, 570 East Leffel Lane, Springfield.No appointment necessary.
