Complexions Contemporary Ballet will perform at 8 p.m., Saturday, January 31, 2015, at the Clark State Performing Arts Center, 300 South Fountain Avenue in downtown Springfield.

Founded in 1994 by Dayton native Dwight Rhoden and international performer Desmond Richardson, Complexions features a “groundbreaking mix of methods, styles and cultures” that create an “entirely new and exciting vision of human movement.”

The performance is a mix of classical, modern and contemporary dance and has received numerous awards including the New York Times “Critics Choice” Award. The ballet company has appeared throughout the United States, Europe, Korea and Australia.
