Diesel Tech and New Media - New Programs

Turn your passion into a rewarding career with two very different new programs starting this Fall!

Diesel Technology (Diesel Mechanics) enables you to use your interest in all things automotive to enter the growing and financially rewarding career field of diesel mechanics. Earn an Associate of Technical Studies in Diesel Technology or Certificate of Technical Studies in Diesel Technology at Clark State and enjoy a variety of career opportunities, many with a starting salary of $15 to $17 an hour. All technical classes will be held at the Miami Valley Career Technology Center at 6800 Hoke Road in Clayton, Ohio.

The New Media program was designed by local industry experts to train students to enter the world of digital communication. The Associate of Applied Business in New Media degree will focus on web design, social media and digital art forms such as photography, video, audio and animation to create interactive experiences for the end user. This computer intensive learning experience will prepare graduates to be new media skilled problem solvers to help move businesses forward in this ever-evolving technological era.
